Through the story of Christ’s ministry on earth we see Redemption, Reconciliation and Restoration. During this Lenten season we will be focusing on Redemption, Reconciliation, and Restoration in a two-fold manner; how we experience it in our own relationship with God and how we experience it from God with others. It is Christ’s redemption, reconciliation, and restoration that allows us a seat at God’s table and also which offers those around us a seat at God’s table.

As believers we come to the table for communion (redemption), for working through differences and relationships (reconciliation) and for fellowship (restoration). We recognize that it is Christ’s death and resurrection (the story of Easter) that offers us a place at the table through his redemption, reconciliation, and restoration. We also recognize that we show others around us God has a place at the table for them too through his redemption, reconciliation, and restoration! We invite them to their place at the table through the way we live these out in our relationships and daily lives.

As we continue through this Lent season we will be adding Daily Meditation Journals for you to use.   In this daily meditation journal you are given a scripture passage and prayer for each day. We encourage you to read the passage of scripture, mediate (think on it for a while), and then pray the written prayer with meaning and thought. You  can also pray your own prayer.  We also encourage you to think about how you will draw near to God this Lent season by either giving something up (fasting) or adding something to your life.  The Daily Meditation Journals are available by clicking on the links below.  We hope you enjoy them!
